"The Importance of Sticker Art Culture in NYC," ART 246: NY Art Interim, 2016

This past interim my classmates and I were assigned to write a 3 to 4 page paper. Having just spent a month living and studying in New York City, we were told that we could write about anything so long as we defended our point. Admittedly, from freshmen to senior year, I have always and will always prefer any task to writing. However, through this assignment I was able to reflect on the utter importance of art; a subject I could argue in favor of endlessly. More specifically, I wrote about "The Importance of Sticker Art Culture in NYC,” why it should be celebrated, and why sticker and street art should be encouraged.
