Created completely out of play, Untidaled 3 is part of an on-going series that explores space, color, layering and structure. Each piece begins with a 10x10 grid of dots to provide an overall pattern. Then, each piece is splashed with solid colors, gradients, shapes of varying sizes, and a fish motif that I am fond of. In the future I hope to continue creating these pieces but to add other formal elements as well as other creatures to keep the exploration alive.
