Created for the St. Olaf Dance Department's show Fresh Space, this design was fashioned to invoke a feeling of exciting openness.  Fresh Space is a St. Olaf Dance Department creation that allows students and faculty to show any pieces that they are currently working on; the audience may see something that is cleaned to perfection and then some things that still have a sense of raw newness. Naturally, my co-creator - graphic designer Kelly MaHaffy - and I decided to employ fresh colors to represent the unexpected energy of unfinished works and then mix these elements with a spacious background to represent room for growth, change and refinement.
