Created for an assignment in my summer Graphic Design course, this poster celebrates my favorite musical artist: BANKS. For this assignment we were tasked to 1) create our own typeface and 2) create a gig poster for one of our favorite musicians. BANKS' personal aesthetic is highly steeped in a graphic/geometric design that is accompanied by an equally graphic black, white, and red color scheme. In tandem with these themes, I was inspired by the mirrored set that BANKS employed in her music video "Drowning" and so create a similarily complex, multi-mirrored image of the artist.
